School Benefit

The expansion will include eight new classrooms and new restroom facilities. There are plans to build a multi-purpose room just off our current gym if funds allow. The new wing and multi-purpose room will provide a much needed spacious learning environment for our Junior and Senior High School.

Church Benefit

When CCS moves into their new space, the church will be able to provide spaces dedicated to our children's and youth ministry in Fellowship Hall and the computer lab/library. We hope to eventually provide an improved nursery. There will be ample space for groups to meet throughout the day. We also hope to improve the entry way to allow more space for fellowship.

Kingdom Benefit

As ECCC and CCS grow, the vision of making disciples and educating with a higher purpose will come to fruition. The harvest will be better than it already is.

In 1976, East Columbus Christian Church had the vision to embark on an incredible ministry that was designed to educate students with “a higher purpose.” For the past 45 years, we have witnessed disciple making and training that has impacted multiple generations. Moving forward, it is absolutely essential for us to take the next step and provide a better learning environment for our school while simultaneously opening up space that will allow us to grow in the church. This is an exciting time in the life of our church family and our extended family, Columbus Christian School. Our theme for this season is “Thrive”. We do not want to just exist here, we want to flourish and grow the kingdom of God. Our vision is the same as the Apostle Paul’s vision in Ephesians 4:12, “so that the body of Christ may be built up.” I can't wait to see what God does when His people at ECCC and CCS step out in faith.

I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful ministry that offers superior Christian education to children from three years of age through the twelfth grade. Columbus Christian School believes God has specifically gifted each child and it is our desire to come alongside parents in the purposeful discipleship of their children through Christ-centered academics, athletic excellence and artistic worship. These goals have been uniquely enhanced through our smaller class sizes and family environment. However, in order to continue to "Thrive" and build a flourishing community, it is time for us to expand our facilities and programs.
